    Technical Observations
    • Ball Control: Solid base, but needs to be sharper and quicker on the ball. She can change foot from left to right, but the transition is taking too long — it has to become more liquid, with both feet connecting cleanly. The path forward is volume and repetition.
    • Passing: Solid foundation with real power — she knows how to hit the ball. Technique is the limiter: toes need to come up toward the sky, ankle locked, body lower to the ground at contact. Right now weight and direction are inconsistent ball-to-ball.
    • Weak Foot: Right-foot dominant at this stage, with the left lagging behind. Building left-foot competence is one of the clearer development priorities for her age.
    • Finishing: Strong power — one of her strong suits. She strikes the ball well for her age and can pick out corners at times. The next step is consistency: repeating clean contact rep after rep instead of landing it once.
    • 1v1 Duels: One of her stronger suits. She changes direction and accelerates well, cuts with either foot, and gets past the coach with real intent — advanced for her age. Defending is scrappy and willing, but she goes straight for the ball without reading the situation — body orientation and approach angle are the next layer.
    Soccer IQ Observations
    • Awareness: Scans well for her age. She picks out the target and looks up before striking the ball — a solid baseline to build from.
    • Decision-Making: Currently the lowest area. She doesn't yet know when to use the left versus the right and keeps rolling the ball with the wrong foot. The basics of left-to-right transition will come with targeted repetition.
    Physical

    Super high energy and lively throughout. Change of direction and acceleration are advanced for her age — she cuts with either foot and accelerates past the coach with conviction.

    // Highest-Impact Priority

    Foot-selection and left-right transition. Diana already has the power, the acceleration, and the willingness — what's holding her back is knowing which foot to use and moving cleanly between the two, which gates ball control, weak foot, and decision-making all at once.

    Supporting Development Areas
    • Weak foot repetition
    • Passing technique — toes up, ankle locked
    • Body orientation in 1v1 defending
    Projection

    If foot-selection and left-right transition are addressed inside one Cycle, ball control sharpens, passing weight stabilizes, and her existing duel and finishing strengths translate into far more consistent in-game output.

    Recommended Path

    Signature Cycle — Eight 75-minute sessions built around Diana's foot-selection, weak-foot development, and passing technique.

    // Cycle 1 Priority [Achieved]

    Foot-selection and left-right transition Across the eight sessions, Diana rebuilt her receiving mechanics — hip shape, receiving foot, and orienting toward middle and goal — and by Session 6 was choosing her left foot on her own with clean strikes, confirming the diagnosis moved.

    Technical Progress
    • Ball Control: Developing → Advanced +2 [priority]
      Inside/outside surfaces sharpened under time pressure with clean pullbacks and foot switches by Session 2, and she picked up the Krojev turn on first exposure in Session 3 to change direction and pace. First touch and go became a repeatable weapon — she can now accelerate immediately after the touch rather than pausing to reset.
    • Passing: Developing → Competent +1
      Technique was rebuilt in Session 5 — lower body position over the ball, open foot, toe up to lock the ankle — and produced clean passes after the correction. Session 7 confirmed the mechanics under time constraints, but passes still bounce in the air or lack power at times, so this stays on the reinforcement list.
    • Weak Foot: Developing → Competent +1
      Session 6 was the turning point — after heavy repetition on striking mechanics with ankle locked and toes down, she carried the pattern to her left foot and kept choosing it on her own. Left-footed shots looked solid with reinforcement, though the foot is not yet a default under speed.
    • Finishing: Competent → Advanced +1
      Session 2 produced precision shots with locked ankle and real power, and Session 3 layered in change of speed immediately after the touch. Contact point and ankle lock are now consistent on the right and reliable on the left after Session 6 reinforcement.
    • 1v1 Duels: Competent → Advanced +1
      Her willingness to attack goal and change speed after the touch translated directly into 1v1 outcomes. Body orientation work is still in the reinforcement window — she can execute cleanly when the shape is set, but defending posture is not yet a default.
    Soccer IQ Progress
    • Awareness: Competent → Advanced +1
      Hip shape, receiving foot, and scanning were introduced in Session 2 and absorbed on first exposure. By Session 5, she was reading receiving foot based on field position and orienting toward middle and goal without a cue.
    • Decision-Making: Developing → Competent +1
      Awareness and decision-making work between the pink and green goal in Session 7 was solid — she took direction and applied it immediately. Foot-selection under speed is trending up but not yet automatic, which is the ceiling for the next Cycle.
    Physical

    Diana accelerated her footwork speed and agility across Session 2, changing feet quickly and handling reps on both sides under pressure. Session 3 confirmed a clear ability to change speed and accelerate immediately after the touch, which shows up in both her finishing and her 1v1 outcomes.

    Cycle Summary

    Diana entered this Cycle with power, acceleration, and willingness already in place — what was missing was the technical vocabulary to use them cleanly on both feet. The biggest shift came in ball control: the touch is now a launching mechanism rather than a reset, and first touch and go has become something she initiates without a cue.

    The eight sessions moved in a clear arc. Early work targeted inside/outside surfaces and receiving mechanics under time pressure. Session 3 added the Krojev turn on first exposure. Session 5 rebuilt passing technique from the ground up — lower body position, open foot, toe up, ankle locked. Session 6 was the pivot on the left foot: after heavy repetition she started choosing it on her own, and the strikes held up. Session 7 layered awareness work between the pink and green goal and she applied the direction immediately.

    The limiter is still the passing surface under speed — the ball bounces in the air or lacks power when the window tightens, and it stays on the reinforcement list. The left foot is a choice she now makes, but it is not yet a default when the play speeds up, and 1v1 defending body shape is executable but not automatic.

    // Next Cycle Priority

    Passing weight and surface under speed The mechanics are rebuilt but the ball still bounces or lacks power when the window tightens, and passing is now the gate between her technical work and her decision-making showing up in real play.

    Supporting Development Areas
    • Left foot as a default, not a choice
    • 1v1 defending body orientation
    • Stepover reinforcement under pressure
    Projection

    Given the rate at which Diana absorbs corrections on first exposure and holds them across sessions, passing weight and surface should move into reliable territory inside the next Cycle if the reinforcement volume holds. Expect the left foot to shift from a choice she makes deliberately to a foot she uses without thinking, and expect 1v1 defending shape to catch up to her attacking 1v1 work. The stepover introduced in Session 7 should stabilize alongside the Krojev turn as a second change-of-direction option under pressure.

    Recommended Path

    Signature Cycle — Diana's development is at the point where the passing rebuild and left-foot defaulting need the same private, high-rep, corrected environment that produced the ball control and finishing gains in this Cycle.

    Group Membership — Her awareness of receiving foot and orientation to middle and goal is ahead of her age and needs live reps against other players to convert from understanding into automatic decisions under real speed.
